2024 launch and plans
Today is the day that we launch the 2024 season schedule. There is plenty to look forward to, revisiting some previous venues and visiting some new ones too! I hope to grow on the success of last year and make this year bigger and better.
What is new for this year?
We have introduced the JGS Team Championships for the 9 hole and flag category and the 18 hole players can sign up for the Stableford Series. All these events will be held at Playsport Golf and something a little new for 2024.
I asked and you answered. I sent out a survey to those that played in the U13 category last season enquiring if the boys felt the addition of a 18 Hole U13 scratch event would be beneficial for competition allowing them to play from the further forward tees. Unfortunately I cannot do trophies with the introduction of this additional category for 2024, these will be medal prizes only. Hopefully over the next few years we can pick up some of the trophies to make it a full category.
