Rain, Rain and More Rain (and cold!)
What a weekend, hats off to those who managed to rise to the challenge and tackle the challenging conditions that the weekend presented. Day 1 presented a challenge with the light fading and 4 groups not finishing and needing to head back out on the Sunday morning at first light to complete their round.
Day 2 wasn’t really any better in all honesty! More rain, the courses were full to the brim with water! We lost a few players between round 1 and round 2, and I don’t blame them. But plenty still took on the challenge determined to finish their final! There was plenty of twists and turns before we found our eventual winners! Congratulations guys, 10 out of 10 for effort and certainly well earned wins!
